Media: Hand-made conductive sensors, conductive yarns, conductive tape, felt, acrylic, wood, incandescent light, lighting control circuitry. Three textile sensor areas. 48"w x 48"h. Body Electric is an educational art installation. When viewers touch the electronic textile sensors, panels illuminate text that describes the electrical nature of the human body. Commissioned by the Ontario Science Center. |
